多年来一直从事高性能防护功能涂层材料的研究,在涂层材料制备及涂层结构和性能的研究方面具有丰富的经验和技术积累。近年致力于极端苛刻工况下的抗磨减摩防护功能涂层的研究工作,主持研发的服役于高温高速强冲击摩擦下的抗磨减摩合金涂层制备技术目前已在两类重要的摩擦件中获得应用,解决了我国在相关国防领域二十多年来悬而未决的重大技术难题。作为项目负责人主持国家自然科学基金、国防科工局军品配套项目、国防973项目子专题、中国科学院“西部之光”人才培养计划项目、甘肃省自然科学基金、亚稳材料制备技术与科学国家重点实验室开放课题等各类项目6项,作为主要技术骨干承担国家科技部863计划项目、中国科学院兰州化学物理研究所“十三五”规划重大突破项目及国家自然科学基金项目等近10项。
